The Annual Carol Service was once again held in Wynnstay Lodge under the directorship of W Bro Steve Gardener of Dyfrdwy Lodge. The Masters and Representatives of each of the participating read the Nine Lessons for Christmas. The organist was Mrs. Eirwen Davies, wife of W Bro John Milward Davies of Wynnstay and Llannerch .
An excellent buffet was prepared by W Bro Glyn Hughes, Social Secretary of Wynnstay Lodge and a well supported Raffle realised a magnificent sum of £500.
The Urology Department at the Maelor Hospital and Age Connects (North East ) were chosen to each receive a cheque of £250.
