Freemasons continue to forge links with Cheshire Scouts

Cheshire Masons donated £50,000 to Cheshire Scouts at the recent Royal Cheshire Show. The donation will be applied to support the following:
£30,000 Refurbish facilities at Lakeview, Forest Activity Centre
£10,000 Supporting new group/section provision around the county
£10,000 to be used for discretionary grants

Michael Shiels, a Trustee on the Scouting County Executive Committee, has also been appointed the representative to the Cheshire Scout Bursary Committee to facilitate further support for the Scouts in Cheshire.

From this Autumn South Cheshire Lodge No 5571 based at Willaston, Crewe, will become the Provincial Scouting Themed Lodge and Brethren who have been involved in any area of Scouting, including any Scout leaders who are considering joining Freemasonry are interested, please contact Michael Shiels by email
